DEVELOPING PROJECT BUDGET

At the start of each project, we discuss budget expectations with clients to ensure alignment with feasible parameters. During the design phase, we obtain quotations from trades, suppliers and fabricators for materials, fixtures, custom-made furniture and furniture, and create detailed cost estimates. Throughout the project, the overall budget remains flexible. It adjusts as design changes occur, additional information is provided by suppliers, and new items are introduced.Regular budget reports are provided during construction to keep clients updated until project completion.

SITE VISITS

Site visits are a crucial part of achieving the best design outcome because this is when any problem-solving issues are addressed. During these visits, as an interior designer, my role is to collaborate closely with the construction manager, supervisor, trades, fabricators, suppliers, and artisans, pushing one another to think ‘outside of the box’ to figure out ways to turn your dreams into reality. We ensure that the design vision is being accurately translated into the built environment by addressing any issues that arise and making necessary adjustments.

DESIGN PRESENTATION

The design presentation is the most exciting phase of our projects. Our goal is to captivate our clients and guide them through their vision for their new home. The aim is to create a strong emotional connection through 3D images, finishes, textiles, and furnishings. Design choices, linking them back to our initial ideas and mood boards for a cohesive design. They get to see finish samples up close, along with 3D renderings, 2D elevations, sample boards, floor plans, lighting plans, and project budget estimates. By the end, the goal is to make clients feel confident and ready to move forward with the construction phase.
